The difficulty of demonstrating why Mac is better

Despite writing a lot about my pleasure with my Mac, despite noting my discoveries and blogging about them, I still couldn't give a good answer to my friend Christine's question. Why is the Mac better than any other laptop?

She'd been mulling over switching to a Mac and she asked me to give her a demo of why it was better. Christine was trained to be a doctor, so this may explain her preference for empirical proof. But I didn't know how to really demo.

As I've said before, it's really the little things that matter. And these little things are difficult to demo to a Windows user (who is coming from a different paradigm altogether). Unless of course the said Windows user is asked to play with a Mac for a certain period of time. Which is what her friend Terrence did -- he left his Macbook for her to use over the weekend.
